Akytec SPC210 Codesys PLC + HMI

Akytec SPC210 is a family of CODESYS V3.5-based industrial panel controllers that combines PLC and touchscreen HMI functionality in a single device. By allowing control algorithms and operator interfaces to run on the same hardware, it helps create a simpler system architecture for machine and process automation applications.

The series consists of two models: the SPC210-07 features a 7" / 800×480 pixel touchscreen, while the SPC210-10 offers a 10.2" / 1024×600 pixel touchscreen. Both models are equipped with Ethernet, 3× RS-485, 1× RS-232, USB and SD card interfaces, and support industrial communication and integration options such as Modbus, OPC UA Server, MQTT and SNMP.

Control and operator interface in one device.

Akytec SPC210 combines PLC control and touchscreen HMI visualization in a single panel controller. The control program and operator screens can be developed in the CODESYS V3.5 environment, helping simplify system and control panel architecture in many applications that would otherwise require separate PLC and HMI devices.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Integrate PLC, remote I/O and higher-level systems within a single architecture.

The SPC210’s built-in communication ports allow Akytec Mx110 and Mx210 series remote I/O modules or other Modbus devices to be integrated into the system. This makes it possible to expand digital and analog I/O in a distributed architecture according to project requirements.

Via Ethernet, the SPC210 can communicate with SCADA systems, OPC UA Clients, MQTT Brokers and database systems, enabling an integrated automation architecture from the field level to higher-level software systems.

RS-485-1, RS-485-2 and RS-485-3 are independent serial communication interfaces. The RS-232 interface uses Rx, Tx and GND signals, while the RS-485 interfaces use A and B signals.

SPC210-07 is suitable for more compact control panels, while SPC210-10 can be preferred for applications requiring a larger operator display.
